The owners of the Grovedale home were looking to give a modern look but were on a tight budget. To accommodate the budget and look, the cabinets were painted instead of replaced and low cost countertops were used. New lighting was installed throughout and a very nice glass backsplash was added which took the kitchen from the 80's and provided an updated look with minimal expense.
The owners were looking to carry the gray, black, and white theme into the two bathrooms. The first bathroom had the pink wallpaper and bulky cabinets removed and was done floor to ceiling in metro gray tile. Recessed pin lighting was installed along with a new vanity light. A floating vanity and shelves pulled together the look they were going for. The other bathroom had the blue and green tile removed and replaced with gray block porcelein tile with metal trim and an accent strip.
